CheriMind

Ask your documents. Get answers you can trust. CheriMind answers questions from your organisation's own documents and live data in plain language, and shows the exact source behind every answer. When the answer is not in your content, it says so instead of guessing.

Every answer comes with
The source
The document and passage it came from
An honest "no"
When your content does not contain the answer
Your boundary
Hosted, or fully inside your own network

What it actually is

Every organisation has answers buried in documents nobody can find, policies, contracts, manuals, past project files, standard operating procedures. Searching them returns a list of files. CheriMind returns the answer, in plain language, with the passage it came from.

You upload or connect your content; it is chunked, embedded and indexed so it becomes searchable by meaning rather than keyword. A question is then planned, fanned out across the index in parallel, the results fused and filtered through your rules, and only then answered, with citations attached.

The behaviour that matters most is the refusal. A system that confidently invents an answer about your own policy is worse than no system at all, so CheriMind is built to say when your content does not cover the question.

Where it earns its place
  • Internal helpdesk, "what is our policy on..."
  • Contract and document review
  • Onboarding, new staff asking what everyone else already knows
  • Field and support teams needing an answer from a manual, fast
  • Any team whose knowledge lives in files, not in a database

Your documents do not have to leave the building

For most organisations this is the deciding question, so it is worth being plain about it.

Hosted

We run it. Fastest to get started, nothing for your team to operate, and suitable where the content is not sensitive.

Inside your network

Deployed entirely within your own infrastructure. No document, query or usage data has to leave your environment, which is usually what legal and compliance actually need to hear.

What you get

Document ingestion

Load, chunk, embed and index your files so they become searchable by meaning, not just keyword.

Cited answers

Plain-language answers with the exact source passage attached, so anyone can verify them.

Honest refusals

When your content does not contain the answer, it says so rather than fabricating one.

One endpoint to integrate

Any project, domain or app can use it over a single HTTP endpoint. It is built to be embedded.

Multi-tenant

Separate namespaces for separate teams, departments or clients, isolated from each other.

Answers aware of who is asking

User context shapes the response, so different roles get answers appropriate to them.

Is it right for you?

A good fit if
  • Your team repeatedly asks questions whose answers exist in documents nobody can find
  • You need every answer traceable to a source
  • Your content cannot leave your network
  • You want document Q&A inside an app you already run
Probably not, if
  • Your knowledge is already in a structured database, a query or dashboard will serve you better
  • You want a general-purpose chatbot; this answers from your content, by design
  • Your documents are badly out of date. It will faithfully cite the wrong answer, fix the content first

Common questions

It is built specifically not to. Answers come from your indexed content with the source attached, and when the content does not cover a question it says so. No system of this kind is perfect, which is exactly why every answer carries a citation you can check.

Not if you deploy it inside your own infrastructure, no document, query or usage data has to leave your environment. There is also a hosted option where we run it. You choose, and we will walk your security team through either.

It is designed to be domain-agnostic, policies, manuals, contracts, reports, project files. Bring a representative sample to the demo and we will tell you honestly how well it handles your material rather than guessing.

Yes. The engine is a multi-tenant retrieval service that any project or app integrates over one HTTP endpoint, so you can put document Q&A behind your own interface rather than sending people to a separate tool.

With a small, real set of your documents and the questions your team actually asks. That tells you within an afternoon whether it is worth going further, far more than a generic demo would.

Try it on your own documents

Bring a folder of real content and the questions your team keeps asking. We will show you the answers, the citations, and where it says "not in your content".
